I love books ! Well,not all books.Okay, today's book is............!
Kid vs. Squid by Greg Van Eekhouk(this is a link to his page!) .
When Thatcher Hill spends a summer with his Great Uncle, Thatcher realizes his Great Uncle's town isn't normal. When a weird girl steals something from his"Uncle's" museum, can Thacher get it back?
10 stars. I LOVE the way Eekhouk tells the story as Thatcher! I didn't think the tittle was as matching to the story as it could have been.

Books, books, and more books!
You guys are probably wondering how I read so fast. Well, it's kind of hard not to when your mom is a librarian. Which means more and more books!!!!!!!!!! Today's book is ......!
Abby Carnelia's One and Only Magical Power by David Pouge.
When Abby Carnelia is making egg salad, she discovers her magic power! When she pulls on her earlobes, she can spin a hard boiled egg! Abby goes to a magic camp, where kids learn how to do magic. Just not Abby's kind of magic. When a camp councilor finds he transfers Abby and 3 other kids to another camp where "They test your magic powers". When Abby finds out its a drug camp, can she and her friends escape??
10 stars. I think Pouge is a wonderful writer. Why? Because I LOVE magic books!!!!!!! Pouge writes in perfect doses of magic, friendship, action, and adventure!

Continuing my last post......................!
I'm going to continue my last post.
Maximum Ride by James Patterson #3!!!!!!!!!
In this issue, Max starts going to regular school. One problem. Fang gets wounded fighting Erasers. When the flock goes to the hospital, they get questioned. When the questioning is over, the flock goes with one of the agent's house. Can Max and the flock survive school?????????
10 stars. Adventure, drama, and relationships is what Patterson does best!

My favorite Manga book EVER!!!!!!!!!
Okay, you guys might be wondering what Manga is. Manga is a Japanese comic book. It's usually read from what Americans call "back to front". So my favorite Manga series/book is.........!
Maximum Ride by James Patterson #1 and 2 (I got the 3rd today!)
Max is a teenage girl who has wings. She isn't the only one. Max has a whole flock! There's Fang, Iggy, Nudge, Gazzy, and Angel. There only problem is....Erasers! Erasers have a human body neck down, and a wolf head. They want to kill Max and the flock! While escaping Erasers, Max has troubles of her own!
10 stars. Patterson packs violence, humor, and romance in his novels (also seen in teen section)!

My all-time favorite book!!!!!!!!
Okay, you guys might be wondering what my fave book might be. Well, here it is.........
The Tale of Despereaux by Kate DiCamillo.
When Despereaux is to become an adult mouse, his brother takes him out to train. When Despereaux's brother takes him to the library, Despereaux finds a fairy tale book with a princess and a prince. That night, his parents start to get worried.When Despereaux sneaks out to see the princess, and when he sees her, he becomes madly in love. When an evil rat convinces a little girl to kidnap the princess, can Despereaux save his true love??
10 golden stars. This is my all time favorite book. "Why?" Because I love the way DiCamillo adds in all the little nibs and bits that makes you visualize the story better!

Boring books.
Boring books. Sure,every ones had one. So my boring book is............!
Three Cups of Tea by Greg Mortensen. The Young Reader's Edition.
When Greg Mortensen is climbing the mountain K2 (in the Himalayas) in his sisters honor, Greg ends up lost. When he wanders down the wrong trail, he ends up in the small village of Korphe. Greg soon finds out that the children have no school to work in. Greg soon will give all his money to build the children a school.
Okayyyyyyyyyyyyyy,I giving this book 1 star. Who called the "I only talk about myself" truck????? I wish he could have talked about the kids way more often.

I'm a 10 year old girl who lives in the Seacoast of N.H.
Now on to the book review...............!
Forget-Her-Nots by Amy Brecount White is a story of a girl named Laurel, who has a special power with flowers. Her power is genetic. When Laurel is giving her teacher a bouquet of flowers, she whispers a few simple words, and the teachers date falls in love. If and when she uses her power to often, the whole school of visiting boys becomes hooked on to the girl wearing the flower.
5 stars. Ages 10-15.
Perfect descriptions. White did a fantastic job with this novel.Is a perfect tweeny novel with romance, humor, and friendships.
